Autohaus Sum is a family-run automotive dealership operated by Sum GmbH, with locations in Heitersheim, Müllheim and Efringen-Kirchen in the Markgräflerland region of southern Baden. Founded in 1934 by Otto Sum, the business began as a workshop and became an Opel representative, later an Opel direct dealer. The company sells new and used vehicles from various manufacturers and operates Opel-authorised workshops at all sites, with an independent workshop for other brands at the Müllheim and Efringen-Kirchen locations. Services include vehicle financing, parts and accessories, main inspection (TÜV, GTÜ and DEKRA), bodywork and smart repair, windscreen repair, insurance damage handling, Opel 5plus service packages for vehicles over five years old, air conditioning checks, and vehicle purchase. The business was ISO 9001 certified in 1997. Management passed to the third generation in 2002, when Uwe, Tilo and Georg Sum became managing directors. In 2008 the company acquired Autohaus Lenz in Efringen-Kirchen.
