Autosalone Montecarlo was established in 1969 as a used car dealership. In 1975, it was acquired by Niccolò Masi, a pioneer in Japanese vehicles, who restructured it as a Datsun authorized dealer with a service center. From 1980, it became an authorized Subaru dealer. The company remains family-owned and operated by Niccolò Masi and his wife Marna, with their sons Riccardo (dealer manager) and Federico (service director) continuing the business. Federico is an accomplished technician who won the Subaru Italy Technical Championship in 2019 and competed in the European competition, placing second. The dealership also offers a distinctive off-road test track for customers to experience 4WD vehicles. In addition to Subaru, the dealership represents other international brands and is now also a dealer for Stark electric motorcycles.
