Garage Berckmans is an automotive business in Leopoldsburg, Belgium, founded on 1 April 1955 by Marcel Berckmans together with his father Louis and wife Johanna Wouters. It began as a Renault dealership and became an Opel dealer in 1971. Over several generations it has remained a family business, with Wim Vermeerbergen of the third generation joining in 2003. The company sells new and used cars, vans and trucks, and offers a warranty of one year and one year of European breakdown assistance on used vehicles. Its workshop services cars, vans, trucks up to 7 tonnes and motorhomes, covering maintenance, mechanical repair, diagnostics, coding and software updates, tyre fitting and storage, collision repair and paint, glass replacement, interior steam cleaning, ozone odour removal, technical inspection preparation and towing with a 4-tonne tow truck.
