Founded in August 1998 by Martin Lykke, a trained agricultural machine mechanic, the business started in a former agricultural smithy and later moved to Dalbyovervej 40, which is also the owner's private address. The company is an authorized New Holland dealer for agricultural and construction machinery and also sells Lemken, Giant, Joskin, He-Va and Honda products. It sells new and used machines, accepts used machines and equipment in trade, and offers financing and leasing. Its own workshop carries out service, repairs and pre-sale preparation, supported by six service vans that travel to customers, and it runs service agreements. The spare parts warehouse stocks a range of parts for machines of any brand and sources from Granit's parts catalogue of more than six million item numbers.
