Zürn Gruppe is a family-owned agricultural machinery business founded in 1885, now in its fourth generation of leadership under Rolf Zürn. The group operates three main divisions: Zürn Landtechnik GmbH, a regional dealer with 16 outlets and 250 employees in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria offering sales, financing, and technical service for John Deere farm machinery; Zürn Harvesting GmbH & Co. KG, a manufacturing company with 160 employees producing combine headers, forage harvester attachments, mechanical weed control systems, and specialized seed-breeding machinery at facilities in Merchingen, Hohebuch, and Großwechsungen; and Garford Farm Machinery Ltd., a UK-based company with 70 employees specializing in camera-guided precision hoeing technology. The group employs over 450 people worldwide and has received international awards for innovations in sustainable agriculture, including the 2025 DLG-Agrifuture Concept Winner for its SEED SELECT weed seed control system. Training programs serve approximately 70 apprentices and dual-study students across six professions.
