ANCIBER Academia Nacional de CiberSegurança is a Portuguese cybersecurity training academy, created by CyberS3c to address the shortage of cybersecurity professionals in Portugal. It runs an intensive eight-month cybersecurity analyst course for participants with no prior IT background, combining theory with practical labs on attack and defence scenarios. Course topics include ethical hacking and penetration testing, OSINT, digital forensics, malware analysis, cryptography, network and cloud security, web application security (OWASP Top 10), Wi-Fi and RF attacks, ICS/SCADA security, incident response, SOC creation, and data protection law. Courses are certified by DGERT and graduates receive SIGO-validated certificates. The academy states it was founded in 2019 and has trained more than 500 cybersecurity operators over 21 editions. Graduates are placed in a professionals pool for partner organisations, and an optional internship is offered. The academy describes its teaching content as produced nationally and adapted to Portuguese reality.
