IRIS is an EU-funded Horizon 2020 research project (September 2021 to August 2024) run by a consortium of 19 European partners, including public bodies, SMEs, large industrial service providers and research institutions. It aims to help CERTs/CSIRTs minimise the impact of cybersecurity and privacy risks in IoT platforms and attacks on AI systems. The project develops an integrated platform for autonomous detection of IoT and AI threats, collaborative and privacy-aware threat intelligence sharing, response and self-recovery, data protection and accountability, and a Virtual Cyber Range for CERT/CSIRT training. The platform is validated through pilot use cases in three smart cities covering smart grid, autonomous transport and IoT control systems. The project extends the MeliCERTes platform used by CERTs/CSIRTs.
