Goldmilch is the trading name of Milchwerke Ingolstadt-Thalmässing eG, a dairy cooperative founded in 1935 as Milchversorgung Ingolstadt eG and headquartered in Ingolstadt, Germany. It merged with the Thalmässing dairy cooperative in 1987 and has a subsidiary plant in Thalmässing. The cooperative collects milk from about 318 to 440 farmers in the Ingolstadt, Thalmässing, Riedenburg, Langquaid, Gerolsbach and Ammersee collecting areas, with stated annual raw milk intake of about 115 million kg. Its main products are roller dried milk powder and cream powder, sold mainly to European chocolate manufacturers, and liquid basic mix for shakes and ice cream, supplied mainly to McDonald's restaurants in Germany. Since 2015 it has been stated to be the only supplier of basic mix for shake and sundae to McDonald's Germany. Stated production includes about 13,000 tonnes of milk powder and about 20 million litres of ice cream and shake basic mix.
