It collects raw milk from about 2,600 family farms in the South West of Ireland using a GPS-tracked tanker fleet and cold chain, reportedly over 1.2 billion litres a year. Its accredited laboratory tests milk for composition, microbiology, contaminants and herd health, and it runs a milk recording service with Munster Bovine and a Quality Advisory Service for suppliers. The group manufactures dairy and nutritional ingredients, including skim milk powder, whey and permeate powders, dairy protein hydrolysates and milk fat products, sold to customers globally. Its Bloom Feeds brand provides ruminant feeds to farms. Manufacturing operations are in Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK. The company was formerly Kerry Dairy Ireland and states a history of more than 50 years in milk processing.
