LG Seeds Belgium is the Belgian subsidiary of the Limagrain group, a French cooperative group, and trades under the LG brand. It breeds, produces and sells field seeds for forage and arable crops, including silage and grain maize, grass mixtures, forage beets, Tundra winter field beans, winter cereals and cover crops. Its offering targets Belgian dairy and livestock farms, with silage maize and grassland seed aimed at dairy cattle rations. The company runs research and breeding activities in the Benelux, including a research centre in Rilland (Netherlands) with laboratories, climate-controlled growth rooms and a trial farm at Schalkshoeve. It also operates a silage and forage analysis laboratory, offers technical advice through regional advisors, runs field demonstrations and agromeetings, and provides the Agrility digital maize monitoring platform. The head office is in Kluisbergen, East Flanders.
