The company began by developing a product for dairy farming, which led to a collaboration with Lasmotec and the founding of Onesto Construction B.V. In 2018 the company was converted into a general partnership and moved into its own premises in Drachten. Its workshop handles cutting, bending, welding and assembly, with laser cutting and other specialist work subcontracted to fixed partners. The company also converts shipping containers into process housings and classrooms, and supplies housings for biogas installations. It offers on-site assembly of its own products.
