Sapal offers machine upgrades, spare parts, maintenance contracts, field service, remote factory acceptance tests and training. It has held ISO 9001 certification since 1994, reports machines installed worldwide and says it is present in more than 70 countries. In 2025-2026 the company acquired SMP, a French food packaging company, to expand its processed cheese activities. Sapal's machines are sold under the Sapal, Kustner and Bonals Technologies names, and it also represents the Italian firm MACS for chocolate packaging.
