VM Tarm a/s is a Danish manufacturer of customised tanker trailers, founded in 1962 by Bernhard Lauritsen and now led by his grandson Holger Lauritsen. Its range includes milk tankers for transporting milk from farms to dairies, alongside feed tankers, liquid manure tankers, chemical tankers, vacuum tankers, beer and fish tankers, and tractor unit constructions. The company also provides service and repairs for its own and other manufacturers' tankers, including through a mobile service team and service in Finland, Sweden and Norway. It supplies customers across the Nordics, Germany, Benelux and other European markets. The company was originally linked to dairy through the Vestjysk Mejeriservice dairy machinery business, which was later divested as tanker production grew. It reports about 300 tank trailers built each year and emphasises quality, service and sustainability.
