AI4RISK is a research project led by the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest (Institutul de Cercetare CAMPUS), with partners including the Military Technical Academy Ferdinand I and the University Transilvania of Brasov. It is developing an AI-based platform for strengthening national security. The platform integrates multi-source data, processes real-time image streams, and applies explainable AI to risk analysis and estimation, supporting both planning and mission coordination. Its scope also covers satellite and aerial data collection, generative methods for aerial imagery, and risk assessment in areas such as infrastructure, deforestation and logistics movements. The project runs for 24 months, from September 2024 to August 2026.
