Aktyvus Photonics is a Lithuanian solid-state laser developer based in Vilnius, active since 2020. The company designs and manufactures robust DPSS laser systems for extreme environments, including laser target designators for micro-UAVs and handheld designators. Its products are intended for defence applications such as target designation and precision strike support, and also for remote sensing, LIBS, LIDAR and related industrial uses. Development is supported by in-house laser component manufacturing, mechanical engineering, additive manufacturing (SLS and SLM printing), a climatic test chamber and an ISO 6 cleanroom. The company's projects are partly funded by EU programmes that promote export of defence and security products, and it is developing a miniature laser target designator for small class UAV payloads in partnership with ALTUS LSA.
