AMOPACK is a Spanish manufacturer of industrial and portable batteries, founded in 1998 from the outsourcing of SAFT's portable battery activity in Spain. It designs and manufactures Ni-Cd, Ni-MH, lithium-ion and primary lithium batteries, including custom formats for specific applications. Its business lines cover defense and security, industrial systems, telecommunications, medical equipment, electric mobility and emergency systems. In defense, the company has supplied portable power for soldiers, batteries for military radios such as PR4G and TETRAPOL terminals, batteries for unmanned systems and vehicle-mounted backup power, and states it supplies batteries to the Ministry of Defense. It operates with its own engineering and R&D department, works with technology partners such as SAFT, ARTS, FDK and SAMSUNG, and holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications. Headquartered in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Álava, with a commercial delegation in Madrid.
