Arquimea is a technology company founded in 2005 by Dr. Diego Fernández that develops products, systems and services based on proprietary technologies for high-demand sectors including aerospace, defence, big science, biotechnology and fintech. In defence it develops information and control systems for mortars and artillery, fire control systems, electronic mortar systems, loitering munition systems and unmanned aircraft, and supplies ground support equipment for military aircraft. Its space business covers thermal control systems, hold-down and release mechanisms, actuators, optical payloads, avionics and radiation-hardened microelectronics for satellites. Its aeronautics and astrophysics divisions manufacture flight parts, tooling and scientific instrumentation. The group operates a research centre and a corporate venture arm, and reports more than 500 employees and offices in Europe, the United States, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
