ATEM is a French SME based in Solliès-Pont (Var) that designs, assembles and repairs radiofrequency and microwave products. Its core business is hand-assembled coaxial cable assemblies and microwave subassemblies for defence, aerospace, security and research customers. The company designs and tests its products in-house, using its own vector network analysers, and offers engineering, integration and repair services for microwave links. Its activities include perimeter surveillance radar with integrated PTZ cameras, in-flight connectivity cabling for commercial aircraft, and participation in R&D projects in France and Canada on satellite communication interference and mitigation. ATEM works with the French defence procurement agency DGA and large primes such as Thales, and holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and EN 9100 certifications. It has a subsidiary in Montreal, ATEM Canada Inc., and states an ambition to move up the RF value chain toward becoming a radar equipment manufacturer. It also acquired VN Composites, a composite parts maker.
