Aurelian Manufacturing is a Norwegian company building purpose-built, AI-enabled smart factories for high-mix, low-volume (HMLV) precision machining. Its facilities use automated CNC machining, digital twin validation before first cut, and a proprietary, in-house software stack covering ERP, quality documentation, machine data integration and AI-driven scheduling and optimisation. The company targets defence, energy, offshore and critical infrastructure customers, offering precision components in steel, aluminium, titanium and specialty alloys with full digital traceability, including material gate review, Certificate of Conformance and FAIR documentation. Aurelian states it is Norwegian founded and operated, security clearance ready and structured for NATO codification from the outset, and it operates on a production-as-a-service and anchor-customer model. Its site concept, Site Zero in Valer, Østfold, is intended as the template for further facilities of up to 25 CNC machines each.
