Baumert is a French family-run company based in Schaeffersheim, Alsace, specialising in the engineering, design and manufacture of technical doors, partitions, hatches and security doors for sensitive infrastructure. Its range covers nuclear power plants, where it has supplied equipment for many third-generation reactors in France and internationally, as well as military and defence sites. Protective features include bulletproof, anti-intrusion, anti-explosion, fire-resistant, radiation-shielding, earthquake-resistant, watertight and airtight performance. The company operates a workshop of over 5,000 m² and an engineering and R&D department of about 40 engineers and technicians. It offers design, manufacturing, installation, on-site technical assistance and maintenance services. Baumert also holds ISO 19443 certification for suppliers to the nuclear industry. Its defence offer covers security doors for military buildings, ammunition storage and munitions-related sites.
