BENE Cercetare

Founded in 2010, BENE Cercetare is a defense company based in București, Romania working in c4isr, optronics, radar & sensors.

BENE Cercetare is a Romanian research, development and innovation company founded in 2010, working in communications equipment and telecommunications technology. It runs national and international RDI projects in energy, mobility, environment, cultural heritage and digital transformation. Its defence-related work includes contributing sensor integration, edge processing and secure data communication to NEVMA, a neuromorphic event-driven vision project funded under the European Defence Fund 2025 SME call, where it also leads dissemination, communication and exploitation. It also participates in SEAGUARD, a project to develop an autonomous multi-domain maritime and border surveillance architecture and multi-level situational awareness for border management authorities. Other projects include MisAIB, an AI and blockchain noise and air quality monitoring platform developed with COMOTI, ROMEO, a low-cost multisensory aquatic monitoring system, and a cybersecurity maturity assessment under a PNRR programme with the National Directorate of Cyber Security (DNSC).
