CRC, legally Container Research Corporation, is a metal fabrication and manufacturing company founded in 1956 and based in Aston, Pennsylvania. It designs, builds, tests and produces reusable metal shipping and storage containers, assembly and maintenance platforms, and large weldments for aerospace, defense, transportation, nuclear, alternative energy and commercial customers. Its military work includes shipping systems for missile deployment programmes, containers for helicopters, aircraft and weapon systems, a DoD field sterilizer programme, and naval aviation container contracts. The company operates three facilities in Aston and Glen Riddle, Pennsylvania, and Elkton, Maryland, totalling about 390,000 square feet, and provides in-house design, prototyping, welding, testing and quality services. It holds ISO 9001 and AS9100 certification.
