Founded in 1990, the company develops, manufactures and installs its systems at its factory in Northern Denmark, and supplies coastal radio and NAVTEX transmitters to customers in more than 40 countries. Its Futronic test boxes are used by radio inspectors, classification societies and port state control authorities in around 85 countries. Danphone states that its equipment has been awarded NATO stock numbers and that the company is registered with a NCAGE code. It also offers service, support, software updates, calibration and training. The company is a member of IALA and Space Connect North, and it supports the Danish Defence and Emergency Services through InterForce.
