It designs, produces, sells, exports and maintains long-range ground-based and naval-based air defence systems. The company acts as prime contractor and system design authority for the FSAF and PAAMS families, including the SAMP/T and SAMP/T NG systems and ASTER missiles. Its development and initial production were funded by the French and Italian defence ministries on a 50/50 basis, and it works with OCCAR and national contracting agencies, including the UK. EUROSAM operates an ISO 9001 and AQAP 2110 certified management system and maintains a code of ethics derived from those of MBDA and Thales.
