Garofoli S.p.A. is a family-run Italian mechanical engineering company founded in 1946 as Garofoli Eraldo Costruzioni Meccaniche and converted to a joint-stock company in 1977. It operates two business units: Costruzioni Metalmeccaniche in Terni, which designs, builds and assembles technology solutions for the defence, space, aeronautics, telecommunications and medical sectors, and Aginox in Narni, which processes stainless steel for urban furniture, naval, and agri-beverage applications. The company holds AQAP 2110 certification, first granted by the Italian Ministry of Defence in 1989, and UNI EN 9100 certification from 2012. Its defence work includes shelters for electronic equipment and production for the Ariane 5 space launcher programme. It is a member of the Leonardo Lounge supplier programme and has a Spanish subsidiary, Garofoli Iberica, established in 2004 in Madrid.
