Global Clearance Solutions (GCS) is a Switzerland-based, owner-managed provider of integrated technological and operational solutions for explosive threat mitigation. Founded in 2015, the company develops and deploys mission-ready systems and delivers clearance services for landmines, explosive remnants of war and improvised explosive devices across humanitarian, military and commercial contexts. Its engineering and production are based in Germany, and it operates regional offices and project activities in more than 30 countries. GCS offers mechanical clearance platforms, mission attachments for armoured combat engineering vehicles, sensor and detection systems, unmanned systems, and support and field equipment. Its capabilities cover demining, battle area clearance, route and range clearance, urban clearance, explosive ordnance disposal, IEDD and search, minefield breaching, combat engineering and underwater clearance. Through its subsidiary Symlab AG, GCS also supplies active and reactive jamming systems for protecting vehicles, convoys, fixed sites and critical infrastructure against radio-controlled threats and hostile drones.
