Gul Otomotiv is a Turkish manufacturer and exporter of military vehicle spare parts and heavy defense industrial components. Founded in 1975 in Istanbul as a distributor of Magirus Deutz engine and Otokar minibus spare parts, the company began producing parts for military vehicles and supplying Turkish Land Forces contractors in the early 2000s. It has since developed and manufactured parts for M113, M60, M88, M109, Leopard 2, YPR765 and other platforms, including transmission systems, track shoes, torsion bars, electronic control units and artillery components. The company operates in-house foundry, machining and CNC facilities, works with the aluminum foundry SPALTEK for casting, and produces parts to customer Technical Data Packages with radiographic and chemical inspection. Its customers include the Turkish armed forces, the US Army and allied powers, and it has delivered parts through agents in the USA and Canada and to Pakistan.
