The structures use a patented bracket system that allows set-up and reconfiguration without tools or ladders, and can be fitted with breachable doors and windows, sound, lighting and camera systems. They can be integrated with digital simulation, and the company partners with TiTraining on the RECON SimHouse. The company was started in 2009 by Scott Giovannetti, a former police officer and trainer. Its prototype led to the first installation at the Toronto Police Service training centre.
