Founded in 2005, Novium is a defense subsystem manufacturer based in Saint Vallier, France working in land systems & vehicles, naval systems, mro & logistics.

Novium is a French constructor of special mobile machines and defence equipment, based in Saint Vallier (Saône-et-Loire, Bourgogne). The company designs, builds, maintains and retrofits special engines for rail infrastructure, public works, defence and naval applications. Its defence activity covers land and naval equipment, including hydraulic power transmission sub-assemblies for armoured vehicles, pipe systems for vehicles of crossing and aluminium landing craft. Novium also operates an ECM (entity in charge of maintenance) department offering maintenance, repair and technical services for rail and work machines. Founded in 2005 as Hydro 3M, the company was renamed Novium in 2013 and was acquired by its managers in 2019. It employs around 70 people, runs a 2,000 m² workshop with a 6 km test track connected to the national rail network, and has built a dedicated defence design office and workshop with controlled access for confidentiality. Novium is a member of GICAT and GICAN.
