PPD is a defense component supplier based in Allerød, Denmark working in ammunition & energetics.

PPD is a Danish company, formerly PlastPackDefence, that develops and manufactures lightweight plastic packaging solutions for military transport, handling and storage of ammunition, explosives, pyrotechnics and other hazardous or high-value goods. Its flagship Light Weight Ammunition Case (LWAC), including the LWAC M2A1 and the PA-120 developed with Rheinmetall, is designed as a drop-in replacement for steel ammunition containers and is claimed to cut weight by around two-thirds and reduce production carbon emissions. The company has a production partnership with Skawplast A/S for the LWAC M2A1, holds patents on its designs and resins, and states customers in several NATO and non-NATO countries. PPD is a member of Danish and European defence industry associations.
