Robotic Technology Inc. (RTI) is a Maryland corporation chartered in 1985 that provides systems and services in intelligent systems, robotic and unmanned vehicles, robotics and automation, weapons systems, intelligent control systems, intelligent transportation systems and intelligent manufacturing. It develops autonomous intelligent robots and vehicles for military and civil applications and intelligent systems for controlling complex systems of systems. RTI's control architecture work, the 4D/RCS, was developed with the NIST Intelligent Systems Division and has been applied to robotic ground vehicles and the U.S. Army's Future Combat System. RTI has three major projects sponsored by DARPA and is a teaming partner of Elbit Systems of America. The company also offers technical analysis, technology assessment and forecasting, and business development services. RTI is based in the Washington DC metro area and is a charter member of ITS America and the Robotics Technology Consortium.
