Safariland

Founded in 1964, Safariland is a defense company based in Ontario, United States working in armour & protection, soldier equipment.

Safariland, operated under The Safariland Group, designs and manufactures duty holsters, tactical holsters, concealment holsters and body armor for law enforcement, military, security and sporting markets. Its duty holsters offer Level I, II and III retention systems, including the ALS and SLS locking mechanisms, and some models are optic-ready. The company was founded in 1964 by Neale Perkins as a holster business in Sierra Madre, California, and is headquartered in the United States with facilities in Ontario, California and Jacksonville, Florida, plus a UK office in Warrington. Its portfolio has included brands in body armor, body-worn cameras and evidence management, tactical communications headsets, and protective equipment. Safariland is part of a group that also includes Mustang Survival and sells to civilian concealed-carry customers as well as public safety and military customers.
