Scepter is a manufacturer of fuel containers, military fuel and water containers, ammunition containers and marine fuel tanks. The company was started as a small family business in 1949 and began by blow moulding the first military-style fuel cans in Canada. It supplies consumer gas cans, portable marine fuel tanks and accessories, and military packaging for fuel, water and large calibre ammunition. Scepter's military containers are used by armed forces, and the company promotes lighter, safer polymer packaging for the defence industry, showcasing this at DSEI 2025. Its products are tested in on-site labs, and the company holds ISO 9001:2015 certification. Scepter is part of Myers Industries, which acquired the company in 2014, and operates from Canada and the USA.
