ScioTeq is a Belgian-headquartered designer and manufacturer of rugged visualization solutions for the avionics, air traffic control (ATC), and defense and security markets. Its portfolio covers certified avionics display units and display computers, defense and security displays and data servers, ATC main and tower displays, and video distribution and real-time KVM switching. The company says it has fielded over 250,000 display solutions on more than 160 aircraft types, over 100 ship types and more than 50 vehicle types. Products are developed, manufactured and tested at its facility in Kortrijk, Belgium, with manufacturing in the United States and depot repair and sales support in Singapore. ScioTeq traces its origins to a spin-off from Barco's television and display business in the mid-1980s, was renamed ScioTeq in 2019, and was acquired by OpenGate Capital in 2021. It also offers customisation of commercial off-the-shelf products, Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) based hardware and software, and a certified software framework called MOSArt.
