Skudo is a Tallinn, Estonia based company founded in 2019 that designs cybersecurity embedded systems around FPGA technology. It develops hardware-rooted cryptography, reusable cryptographic IP, FPGA-based implementations of ML-KEM and ML-DSA post-quantum algorithms, complete PCB solutions and custom secure communication systems for UAV and space applications. The company has completed and ongoing European Space Agency development contracts, including the FYSON demonstration validated in orbit on the OPS-SAT satellite, and is an alumnus of the ESA Business Incubation Centre Estonia. It has received three consecutive European Defence Fund selections: HSM4COM, SIGMA and SEQULITE. Skudo's products include the Kryptor FPGA development board, the SERPE V4 analogue FPV video link protection unit and a satellite communication module. Its work targets defence, space and other long-lifecycle systems that need secure communications over many years.
