Sky Eye Systems S.r.l. is an Italian aeronautical company founded in 2017 to develop and manufacture a family of Mini and Light Tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems weighing between 25 and 50 kg (Rapier family). Its products are certified or designed for military and civil type certification, including the Rapier X-25 and Rapier X-SkySAR. The company covers design, prototyping, manufacturing, after-sales support, and pilot and sensor operator training. It holds a Military Design Organisation Approval from the Italian Directorate of Aeronautical Armament and Airworthiness (DAAA), certified in 2022 to design the military UAS Light product. Its proprietary flight control system and autopilot are developed in-house, supported by test rigs and an Iron Bird integration demonstrator.
