Spectra Defense Technologies, formed in 2021 through the unification of three C5ISR companies (Calculex, Argon and Galleon), designs and manufactures ruggedized C5ISR systems for defense forces. Its portfolio covers high-speed data acquisition and sensor recording, mission computing, encrypted storage, and ruggedized displays and human-machine interfaces. Systems are designed for air, land, sea and space platforms and are built to MIL-STD requirements, using commercial off-the-shelf technology adapted for harsh environments. Calculex brought airborne data recording and flight test instrumentation expertise, including co-authorship of the IRIG-106 Chapter 10 standard. Argon contributed ruggedized display and HMI solutions. Galleon added mission computing and encrypted storage with NIAP-approved, CSfC-listed encryption. The company operates engineering and manufacturing facilities in North America and Europe and supports U.S. Department of War, NATO and international customers.
