Swiftships is a US-based shipbuilder and maritime solutions provider founded in 1942. It designs and builds military and commercial vessels from aluminum, steel and composite, including fast patrol craft, corvettes, landing craft, riverine craft, and unmanned and autonomous surface vessels. The company provides vessel life cycle sustainment, maintenance, repair and overhaul, refit and modernization, and related design, engineering, logistics and operator training services. Its client base is primarily the US Department of Defense, the US Navy and US Army, and allied navies, and it has delivered vessels to customers in over 50 countries. Swiftships operates four yards in Louisiana and Texas and has established co-production programmes with the Egyptian and Pakistan navies, plus subsidiaries in South Asia and the Middle East and joint ventures in Saudi Arabia. It holds ISO 9001 certification and reports working under ITAR requirements for technology transfer and co-production programmes.
