Technology Dynamics Inc. (TDI) is a designer and manufacturer of ruggedized power conversion products, including AC-DC switching power supplies, DC-DC converters, DC-UPS battery backup systems and battery chargers. Founded in 1976 and headquartered in Bergenfield, New Jersey, the company builds COTS and custom power products ranging from a few watts to about 75 kW, with output voltages from 3.3 VDC to 500 VDC. Products are designed for military, industrial and commercial harsh-environment applications and are stated to be qualified to MIL-STD environmental standards for naval, airborne, fixed and ground mobile use. The company reports a library of over 3,800 designs and about 1,500 ruggedized COTS products produced over its history. Its facilities are described as AS9100D and ISO 9001 certified. Technology Dynamics also states that its products are used by major defense prime contractors and branches of the US Department of Defense. The company has a sister division, Mid-Eastern Industries, and recently added Jasper Electronics to its portfolio.
