It designs, manufactures, integrates and supplies 70mm air-to-ground rocket systems for armed forces worldwide, including motors, warheads, launchers, fire control systems and laser-guided rockets. The company's main headquarters and non-pyrotechnic rocket component production are located in Herstal, Belgium, with pyrotechnic assembly and testing at Fort d'Evegnée and a second production site at Soumagne. Thales Belgium joined the Thales Group in 1988 through TDA, and states it has over 55 years of experience. Its products are restricted to military and governmental end users and are subject to export licences. The company reports following ITAR rules, Walloon export regulations and the Oslo Convention, and holds ISO 9001:2015 certification. Its quality system includes AQAP 110 requirements, with a national defence representative stationed at Herstal.
