UROVESA (URO Vehículos Especiales, S.A.) is a Spanish manufacturer of multi-purpose, all-terrain and special vehicles for military and industrial use. Founded in 1981, the company designs, manufactures and supports vehicles including the VAMTAC and TT URO platforms, which have been in service with the Spanish Armed Forces for over 20 years and 35 years respectively. Production is project-based and configurable, with capacity stated at up to 5,000 vehicles per year depending on contracts. Its main factory and offices are in Valga (Pontevedra), with an after-sales and integrated logistics support department in Santiago de Compostela. Services include spare parts management, technical assistance, scheduled and corrective maintenance, and operator and technician training. The company holds PECAL/AQAP 2110, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, has supplied the Spanish Ministry of Defence since 1984, and has contracts with the New Zealand Ministry of Defence and the Portuguese Army. It is also working on VAMTAC manufacturing under an NSPA contract.
