Verona Shelters, operating as Verona Shelters Group, is a provider of integrated, turnkey shelter systems for civil protection, military and critical infrastructure. The company was formed through the merger of Finnish shelter and safety firms Verona Shelters Oy and Suomen Turvakauppa Oy, in partnership with Swiss firm Andair AG. Its portfolio covers blast- and gastight doors and valves, CBRN filtration and ventilation, EMP protection, intelligent shelter control systems and lifecycle services including inspection, upgrades and maintenance. It also operates the Shelters Academy, a knowledge and training platform for civil protection decision-makers and engineers. The company reports projects in over 60 countries and more than 300,000 installations. In a joint venture announced with NAFFCO Group, it plans to manufacture civil defence and military shelters in the UAE and expand in the Middle East, North Africa and Europe.
