Wolfram Europa is an Estonian energetic materials and munitions company aiming to close Europe's explosives gap through vertically integrated manufacturing of energetic materials, warheads and mines. The company plans a 200 million investment in a complex near Jēkabpils, Latvia, on a 40-hectare site. The complex is planned to synthesise explosives such as RDX and HMX, mix end-use compositions including Composition B, C-4 and PBX, and fill and assemble anti-tank mines and warheads. Production is planned in three phases from 2027, with about 200 high-skill jobs expected. The company also partners with Harmattan AI to integrate European-designed effectors into autonomous systems.
