ABÖJ is a non-profit association based in Bregenz, Austria working on children & youth, religion & faith, community development.
ABÖJ (Arbeitskreis Bibelorientierter Österreichischer Jugend) is a non-profit association that works to strengthen children's and teenagers' work in churches and congregations across Austria. Its member groups, drawn from various churches, organise summer camps (Jungschar-Lager for children aged about 8 to 13, and Teenie-Lager for those aged 13 to 16). Beyond the camps, ABÖJ helps churches set up new Jungschar and teenie groups, coaches existing groups, provides training, materials and courses for volunteer leaders, and runs a material shop. The work is based on biblical principles and evangelical Christian values, and is delivered nationwide with regional camps in several federal states.
