ACORT (L'Assemblée Citoyenne des Originaires de Turquie) is a French association registered under the 1901 law, headquartered in Paris. It works to promote equal rights, democracy, anti-racism and solidarity, with a focus on immigrants and residents of Turkish origin. Its activities include mediation and access-to-rights services, support for parents and schools, women's groups, youth programmes, the Arc-en-ciel radio show, French classes, homework support and cultural events. It is organised as a platform of autonomous groups and volunteers, operates across France, and takes part in local, national and European cross-association networks. Its work includes campaigns against discrimination and for voting rights for residents, and it has been a founding member of several immigrant federations and networks.
