Action for Singapore Dogs

Founded in 2000, Action for Singapore Dogs is a charity based in Singapore, Singapore working on animal welfare.

Action for Singapore Dogs (ASD) is a registered charity and non-profit society working to improve the welfare of stray and abandoned dogs in Singapore under a strict no-kill policy. It rescues, fosters and rehomes dogs, advocates sterilisation to control the stray population, promotes responsible pet ownership and highlights the Singapore Special breed. Dogs are housed at the ASD Canine Rehoming Centre at The Animal Lodge in Sungei Tengah and in foster homes. ASD runs an adoption programme, sponsorship schemes for individuals and corporates, volunteering, and dog training and education through its Dog Listener Academy. Since its founding in December 2000 it has reported rehoming over 3,000 dogs. The organisation is run by volunteers and relies mainly on donations.
