Alpe Adria Green (AAG) is an international, non-governmental, apolitical and non-profit environmental organisation registered in Slovenia. It brings together environmental NGOs, environmentally aware companies and individuals across the Alpe-Adria region, the former Yugoslav states and Italy. Its work covers nature protection, environmental protection, the energy sector, transport and sustainable development. Activities include field patrols that document environmental violations, free environmental legal advice, civil oversight of projects affecting the environment, air quality measurement, awareness programmes and regional volunteer networks. The organisation is funded by donations and membership fees, and states that it receives no government or corporate funding.
