Alzheimeralliansen

Founded in 2025, Alzheimeralliansen is a non-governmental organisation based in Lillestrøm, Norway working on health, mental health.

Alzheimeralliansen is a non-profit network and project in Norway that works to improve the living conditions of people with Alzheimer's disease and their relatives. It was established in April 2025 by Trine Hauger and Per Gunnar Opheim together with Samskapingslabben, and brings together people with Alzheimer's, relatives, professionals, researchers and municipalities. The network offers courses, conversation groups, information and support, and promotes a strengths-based, recovery-oriented approach to dementia care that emphasises hope, coping and social participation. Activities have taken place in Lillestrøm and Horten, in collaboration with local municipalities. It also aims to reduce stigma through more inclusive language about the disease.
