Amigos de La Cruz

Amigos de La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, A.C. is a volunteer-run Mexican asociación civil formed in December 2014 in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Nayarit, on the Bahía de Banderas. Its origins lie in the Friendship Club and APERCH, which paid for medical expenses and medicine for needy residents. The association works to improve quality of life in the community through cultural, educational, environmental and charitable assistance programmes, including a Kids Club and a dental clinic. It is supported by donations, fundraising events and a US partner foundation, Banderas Bay Charities Inc., which accepts donor-directed gifts eligible for US tax credit. Donations may also qualify for Mexican tax donation credit.
