The Arbeitskreis Leben e.V. Reutlingen / Tübingen is a registered, charitable association that provides suicide prevention and crisis counselling in the Reutlingen and Tübingen region of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It has operated since 1976. Its services include crisis counselling for people in life crises and suicidal distress, support for relatives and friends, grief support for people bereaved by suicide, online counselling for young people (Youth-Life-Line) and people aged 60 and over (LebensLinien 60), prevention talks and training for professionals, and suicide prevention work in schools. Counselling is provided by full-time staff and around 90 trained volunteer crisis companions. The association is funded by the state of Baden-Württemberg, the districts and cities of Reutlingen and Tübingen, donations, legacies and court-ordered fines. It is recognised as charitable and non-denominational, and is a member of the Paritätische Wohlfahrtsverband and the German Society for Suicide Prevention.
